Amissville men met instant death in the flaming wreckage of a 1%5 Ford sedan Friday, February 6, when the car went out of control and hit a tree near Huntly on Route 522.
The men were identified by State Trooper W. A. Buntin as Richard Hamilton Kinsey, 32 and Allen Melvin Hitt, 38. They were heading for Front Royal about 10 p.m. when the accident occured. Kinsey was driving the car.
Buntin said both men were killed instantly by the impact and Hitt was pinned in the car and burned alqnost; beyond recognition when the car burst into flames. T ie Flint Hill Fire Company and Rescue Squad responded to a c. .1 to the scene of the gccident Y e car was totally demolished.
