Rappahannock doesn’t produce enough winter forage crops anyway. Dry seasons have taught us Lespedeza Ls a poor crop to count on for winter’s supply of feed. Many farms do not have soils suited to Alfalfa production. For. these and other reasons clover is a mighty important prop to us and therefore I’d like to hear from more farmers as to their experience in feeding clover hay or mixed clover and grass hay made from the second cutting. Have you had trouble or not_ let me know..we might help Dr. Ackerman uncover something that will he most beneficial.
