Rappahannock
Clubs.- Out of these girls the one that has been selected as the outstanding girl for 1958-59 is Peachey Lyne.
Peachey, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Washington, has been a 4-H club member for seven years. During this time, she has completed j twenty-one projects in nearly every project field.
However, her main project has been in Meal Preparation. She has completed this project for six years, each year increasing the-wse - of the project; She has entered the Public Speaking Contest in die District for two yeart add h» entered County Contests in Meal Preparation, -i ’ Peachey has received county medals in Room' Improvement, Electric, Public Speaking, Meal Preparation, Breads and Achievement.
Along with these projects, she has been active as! a leader in the county, holding offices in her club as well as in the county. This year Peachey is president of the County Council. She has helped with the 4-H Supper a number of years. She is also a member of the Honor Club. >
Indeed Peachey is to be congratulated on her 4-H work!
