We meet on the forst Wednesday night of every month at the home of one of the members. The following arr active members of our club: Walter B. Kilbv, Freddie Jcnfeins, J|oe Clcud, Larry Gossom, Lee Thornton, Peachcv Lyne, Betty Kilbv, Doris Dodson, and Nancy Wood.
The bevs hrv? a variety of projects which include Tractor Maintenance, Livestock end Dairy. TTie .girls also have a number of different pro; ~tc which are Clothing, Meal Preparation and House Keeping. ‘
The Tractor Maintenan ce project is very helpful in learning’ about and taking care of tractors. We met every Monday evening from January 26th through February 28th, 1959 at Culpeper. We met at the different tractor implement dealers which provided instruction in different parts of a tractor. We had a lOO'if completion of record books for this project in our “Club ’. We had a final test which decided who would receive the county award and Walter B. Kilbv got first place and Jo» •Cloud second. The Livestock project includes ore- Baby Beef in our club, which belongs to Walter B. Kilby. He started tthe project last October and will finish if in April ; when he will show and sell his calf at Richmond. Also active with his livestock projects is Lee Thornton and Freddie Jenkins, Lee has four Angus heifers, one of which
