Two young men were killed in an auto accident a few weeks ago. When the father allowed die boy to drive, he did not intend that the boy be killed.! No doubt he icould have said, “It is possible for one to be killed in a car, therefore because I love you, I will not let you ride or drive a car”. Orr the other hand the father wanted the boy to have the advantage and pleasure of the ca|r, and thus ho .permitted him to drive.
God has provided so many wonderful things to bring us joy. Take the love of people for one another for instance. What joy a child can bring to he hearts of its parents but at* the Same time those we love can also bring great,pain to our hearts.

Maybe the best pain in a case like this is not to love. But would you change all the joys that come from loving in order to avoid thej pain? I would not and if you think it over I doubt if you would either.
So it is, every possible joy is a possible pain. No doubt God meant them to be joys but because of our use or misuse of them we have made them into pain.
