the farm Kelly's first ewes ander _ the 4-H farm flock project and ■this is where our 4-H work started. There has been work to do, t records to be kept, record books to Jbe brought up to date, etc,, but we have been greatly rewarded for every effort.
I would like to say that each of my five sons have been benefitted by the y-H club; they have learned to raise better livestock, to use a better feeding program, and to compete in shows. They have won lots of nice prizes and trips and met and become acquainted with some very fine people of Extension work through the 4-H club. „__As for me, I have thoroughly enjby«<L4^4-H work_from helping with tfie'feqding of baby chicks lambs and pigs re packing suitcases for camp short Course or j 4-H Congress. The 4-H club is a wonderful organization and -I would like to see every child in Rappahannock a 4-iH' member. To you parents—I wish more of you would come to the 4-H meetings and would give "11 4-H’ers your whole hearted support. It is very' gratifying to see your child, or any child, finish his or her 4-H project, a job well done...and rightly proud ^*f it.
Come on parents, let’s work! with our 4-H boys and girls and see them climb the ladder of sucMrs.
