New High School
The contract for the new Rappahannock County High School has been given to the Baughan Construction Company of Luray at a bid of $282 625.S0. The contract was signed by Mr. Baughan Tuesday. June 16th* Construction will begin on the building about July 6. Mr. Baughan is interested in hiring as much local labor as possible.

At the Blue Ridge Hunt Horse Show at Millwood, Va., Miss Le» Greenaway, age 12, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. {^eon Greenaway c; Washington, Va. was awarded rh - Punch Bowl Memorial Challenge Trophy for junior working hunter judged throughout the show. She was riding her bay piare “Tickled Pink”.
