F^ank Hier, a 59 year dd near- . tng examiner with the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D. C. apparently fell to his death from a ninth floor hotel room in New York, Monday, morning, June 10.
He was there to conduct a hear-' ing for his agency. His body clad in . pajamas landed on a third floor ' parapet of the hot;el. Heir apparently fell from thf window when he opened it about 6:30 in the morning.
Hier owned a farm near Sperryville, where he stayed on weekends. He is survived by his Widow. Helen C. Hier and a daughter.
