three grandsons Paul, William and Charles were guests for the week end of Mrs. John R. Moore and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Moore enroute to Maine for die summer months from their home in Jacksonville, Fla. Mrs. Mary Krause and her son were dinner guests Sunday of the moores.
Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Miss Virginia Yates Bradford and M. R. Bradford, III attended the baseball game Sunday in Wash-, ington, D. C. They were accompanied to Arlington by Mrs. M. R. Bradford who remained for a visit with her son-ii*-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Davidson.
Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Pat Carrigan and their son of Arlington visited Mrs. John R. Moore and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Moore. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Russell Jones and their fmily. of Arlington were dinner guests of the Moores.
Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. have as their guests Mrs. Smith’s mother, Mrs. Charles Long and Miss Becky Jarrels of Grottos.
At exactly five minutes ot twelve Tuesday, David Kendrick who had left his hone in Roanoke at six-thirty, arrived at the hime of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spalding on his motor scooter. He was a luncheon guest of Charlie Smith. After lunch David and Charlie visited friends in Washington on the scooter.
