We received an invitation to a wedding being held in Europe. It was strange to us. On one side of the invitation you are invited to the! wedding and reception by the brides parents. On the other side you!are issued an invitation by the gropms parents. I think it was right nice, the groom’s parents having some part in the wedding.
Tommie and .Louise Eastham
are jthe proud parents of a daughter. Dump said Louise looked mighty pretty when she visited her Monday. We haven’t seen Tommie, put we can guess he is handing out cigars.
I was taking with Ernest Eubank' the other day and he certainly surprised me when he came out with, “Mrs. Miller, don’t you think, its a shame we do not have any factories or places for people to work at home and all have to leave?” As Ernest talked, I could tell he had really been thinking
aboutj this for a long time, as he named several men who could work. He was even wondering if they could get a job on the new school. SO._it seems even the young people ir. the community would like to stay home and work some place besides a farm.
It was Will Rogers who said, “Everything is funny as long a it is happening to somebody else.”
