The mornings during the week were sjtent in classes chosen by the members. The many topics which would i interest 4-'H’ers were included in these. During the afternoon, ilub members attended the many contests held.
Thursday evening the All Star Ceremony was held at which time outstanding 4-H^mgnbers were tapped' for the-wganizatiorr. Tapped from thjOmunty was Walter B. Kilby. Trbecome an All Star is the highest honor a 4-H’er can*'v obtain.
The Short Course concluded on Friday night with the annual candle lighting ceremony.
Franklin Riley Signs with Cincinnati Reds ^
Franklin Riley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Riley of Flint Hill has signed a contract to play base ball with the Cincinnati Reds. He will report for training in February 1960.
