The Womans’ Auxiliary to the Fire Company met'Monday evening at the fire hall to discuss plans for the carnival to be held July 30-31 and August 1. *;

Settle jjfter visiting Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowersett at their home in Maryland. Mrs. Bowersett and her family accompanied Mrs. Petersen home and were overnight guests at the Settles. ; G. W. Smith, III spent the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. Charlie Smith returned to North Garden Sunday with his brother for a visit.
