Auto Accidents

One mile west of; Flint Hill on Route 628 Saturday, July 25, *t 11:15 p.m. a 1951 j Crevrolet sedan, owned and operated by Melvin Jordan, went but' ot control and turned over in the road. The car was a complete loss. Property damage was approximately $600. Jordan was taken to the Warren Memorial Hospital by the Flint IHill Rescue Squad, suffering a broken right collar bone, broken ribs and internal injuries. He was charged with reckless driving. The same day on Route 231 at the intersection of Route 522 about one milt cast of Sperryville, a 1959 Edsel sedan owned and operated by Roger Joseph Costello of Manassas failed to stop at a stop sign, skidded across a grass plot in the I center of the road, going onto the bonk on the north side of the road. There were no injuries. Damage to the car was $400. Mr. ! Costello was charged with reckless driving by Trooper William Buntin, investigating officer.
