Farmers were urged to write Congressman Burr P. Harrison asking that he do all he can to see that tbe^prcsent system be continued and that he write Secretary Benson concerning the matter.
C. E. Johnson, I. L. Parrish and D. D. Miller urged the Rappahannock Farm Bureau to continue the Bangs Eradication Program as so much has been done, but that; there is much yet to be done with 114 cows in the county not re-tested.
Gew. Noce told the Directors that he had talked with Dr. Estes of the State Veterinarian’s office asking about having Dr. Cooper return to the county to complete the work, but that Dr. Estes would not'agree unless there was some concrete effort to assist Dr. Cooper.
Always interested in the Youth of the County, the Directors voted to help with their 4-H Honor Club Banquet and to sponsor a • picnic in 1960, honoring the youth of the county interested in agriculture.
C. E. Johnson, Jr. brought to the attention of the Directors the establishment of a Rappahannock River Watershed Study Group. Gen. Noce is a member of this group.

Miss Margaret Barrie and Miss Edna Stuart of Scotland and Miss Beryle\Box of Wales were guests for the weekend of Mrk .« Frank Wood'smd Miss Mary Miller Wood. Sunday Miss Wood
and. her guesjs and Miss Elsie Conrad were in Charlottesville for the day. Monday Miss Wood took her guests to Washington, D. C. at which time Miss Conrad left for her home in Canada and Miss Box, Miss Barrie and Miss Stuart remained for a sightseeing tour.
