Miss Elizabeth Miller
Miss Elizabeth Payne Miller, 89, of Slate Mills died Thursday June 16 at the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper.
Miss Miller was born in Rappahannock County, the daughter of James Nelson and Catherine Cordelia Payne Miller. She was a member of the F. T. Valley Baptist Church.
Surviving Miss Miller are two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Miller and Mrs. C. W. Reese, both of the Virginia Baptist Home and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Miller family cemetery at Slate Mills. Rev. IH. E. Nicholson apd Rev. F. B. LeSour conducted the last rites.
Active pallbearers were Otis Thornhill, George Thornhill, R. L. Hudson, Dr. R. W. Quaintance, Sr., A. W. Yowell and Clarence Coppage.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
