John G. Revercomb
John Grover Revercomb, 74, a farmer, merchant and orchardist of Peola Mills, died Friday,, June 17 at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
He was the husband of the late Mary Weaver Revercomb, and a son of John Lewis and Lucy Ann Lillard Revercomb. Mr. Revercomb was a member of the F. T. Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors are: one daughter, Mrs. Charles C. Riddle of Arlington ; four sons, John R. Revercomb of Warrenton, Va.; Russell S., Clyde A. and L. Nelson Revercomb all of Arlington; and three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Gussie R- Weakley, Peola Mills.
Funeral services were held from Clore Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. H. E. Nicholson conducting the last rites. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Clarence Coppage, Cecil Coppage, Joel Byrd Yowell.rfBilly Kilby, Earl Kilby, J. W. Fletcher, Everett Yowell, and Guy Lillard.
