Sale Preparations
If you hear a buzzing in the vicinity of Trinity Church in Washington, Va., it isn’t a swarm of bees but some of the ladies working on the dried flower arrangements for the annual house tour and dried flower sale to be held October 22 and 23.
Mrs. Rayner Snead, Mrs. G. H. Davis, Jr. and Mrs. I. L. Parrish have started on their creations and others are painting everything from containers to pussywillows.
At the other end of the county, in Mrs. William Williamson’s attic, the same strange sounds can b- heard. Surrounded by hundreds of dried flowers, Mrs. Williamson and Mrs. Charles Estes are hard at work.
One very special arrangement which Mrs. Williamson has made will be displayed at the National Housing Center at 1625 L. St in Washington, D. C. The flowers, Continued on page eight
