When writing of progress and development in the county last week, I purposely omitted the latest to save for this week. It is Jackson Acres, a sub-division in Amissville, being developed byfather and son, Cletus and William Printz. First thing I know I will have some new neighbors. What a vast improvement just to get the honeysuckle and bushes from the lot vacant for so long, which has been a fire trap for years. It has been burned over several times and once the window sill of my house caught fire from it.

There are so many worthy causes to which we might cjonate, but it is almost impossible to give to them all. I’ll stick by my grandmother’s old saying “charity begins at home’’ and give what I have to the fund for basketball uniforms for the high school (guess I am just a little partial to basketball and to youngsters), and help the Lions Club in any way that I can for they' do a lot of good work here in the county, as well as our state. Hope lots of other folks feel as I do.
