New Ambulance For

Rapp’k Rescue Squad

Washington Rescue Squad met Thursday, November 10 and reorganized! under the name of Rappahannock Rescue Squad, since it does colver a greater part of the county. The Captain, Frank Huff, presideq at the meeting with eleven members present.

Mrs. B. R. Armel was elected secretary-treasurer to fill the position formerly held by C. T. Bruce Who recently resigned.

A 1%1 Ford station wagon, fully equipped for use as an ambulance, hjas been ordered and deliverv is ejxpected this week. A loan has beep secured for the purchase of the ambulance.

Threp new squad members were welcomed to the organization. They are Edgar Hawkins, Newbill Miller jand Edward B. Hudson.

The jstaff and members of the Rappahannock Rescue Squad have done a splendid job of serving the people pf the county and have responded! willingly to all emergencies which have arisen. Members give their time freely and since this Ls an entirely volunteer organization, 'support of the public is solicited^ Any contributions may be made payable to the Rappahannock Rescue $quad and sent to Mrs. B. R. Armel, treasurer.
