Mrs. Mary C. Hudson
Mrs Mary Catherine Hudson of Warsaw, formerly of Sperryville, widow of Thomas Eugene Hudson, died Wednesday November 9, at an Abingdon hospital. Daughter of the late^ Walker Wingfield and Jan Gianuini his wife, and a native of Charlottesville, she was 78.
She is survived by one son, Thomas W. Hudson of Warsaw; three grandchildren, Thomas W., Jr., Alary- Josephine and William Eugene Hudson all of Warsaw; and four step-children of Washington, D. C.
A funeral service was held Saturday morning, November 12, from the Geest Funeral chapel. The Rev. Dabney Welford, rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Warsaw, of which Mrs. Hudson was a member, conducted the last rites. Interment followed in the family section of Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Pallbearers were her nephews, E. A. Wingfield, E. C. Wingfield, C. L. Wingfield and Robert Harris, all of Charlottesville, Willie Dulaney of Woodville, A. E. Goode of Newport News, W. L. Smith of Richmond and John Hudson of Washington, D. C.
