At the regular meeting of the County School Board of Rappahannock County, Virginia, held on this 11th day of October 1960 at 8:00 p.m. at Washington Virginia in the said County the following members were present: Irvin R. Kilby, Chairman, Paul Nichols, Mrs. Byrd Gravatt Jones, S. R. Shackelford, Maurice O’Bannon, Ralph Rowzie; the following members were abseift: None.

Upon motion by Ralph Rowzie, seconded by Paul Nichols, the Board unanimously adopted the following resolution concerning the passing of Mr. G. W. Smith, Jr.:
WHEREAS, G. W. Smith, Jr., -'served as a faithful and efficient member of the County School Board of Rappahannock County, Virginia from July 1, 1947 to June 30, 1959; and as Chairman of said Board for a period of eleven years; and
