Orceley o* Chester Gap j will he in Chappaqua, New York on February 3rd to participate in the Greeley Day ceremonies celebiating the first day issue of the four cent “Famous American” postage stamp in honor of Horace Greeley. Mrj M. A. Greeley is the great-great gandson of Horace Greeley’s fath-j er, and the closest living relative of the famous editor. *
Other invited guests will include Postmaster .General J. Edward Day, Gov. Nelson Rockefeller and Senators Keating and Javits of New York. j
The special guests will be presented albums of Horace Greeley stamps at the Horace Greeley High School where they will be entertained at a luncheon by Readers Digest magazine.
Estimates of out-of-towr. stamp collectors expected to crowd Chappaqua on the day of the sale range from 5000 to 10,000. The Chamber of Commerce has received inquiries from philatelists as far away as Texas and Louisana asking for railroad schedules and roq^i maps.

Albert J. Sisk, a former resident of Sperryville, has been charged with the fatal shooting of his wife at their home in Arlington.
Mm. Sisk, the former Barbara Ann Kessler of Troutville, Viu, was wounded under her left arm Wednesday and died Saturday n -a hosptal. there. f ’
Details of the shooting are hot known, but Sisk has hem tele on bond.

Ai a recent meeting of the Future Homemakers at RCHS, emphasis was placed on their major project for the year—Food For Fam>ly Fitness. This part of their regular monthly meeting was presented by Mrs. Glenna Bennett, FHA advisor who demonstrated several nutritious snack ideas which would appeal to teens. She brought out the part that individual food likes and dislikes play in one’s being properly nourished.
Also included in the meeting was a “trial” demonstration of how to bake a cherry pie, given by Rena Pullen, who won the state cherry pie baking contest. Rena and Mrs. Bennett Jwill leave February 19 for Chicago where Rena' will compete in the National Cherry
