Delilah Roy
Delilah Roy of Washington, Va. died January 14, 1961 at the home of her daughter Mrs. Margaret Hunter. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church January 17 with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. U. S. Brokenburr, Rev. R. C. Davis and Rev. Smith Timbers conducted the service.
Pallbearers were Webster Fletcher, Reuben Ay lor, Morris Grigsby, Rubin Freeman, Bi’l Yates, Daniel Chunn and Edd Freeman.
Besides her daughter, she is survived by ten grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren
Fiom Washington, D. C. attending the funeral were Mrs. R. C. Davis, Mrs. Riley Pointer and Miss Frances Gatewood, and P. S. Green of Arlington.
