Weight Control Group Member Has Hair Styled
At the: last meeting of the Weight Control Group, a program was presented on hair styles.
Mr. Delano from Rane’ Hairstylists in Culpeper, styled Mrs. Taylor Updike’s hair. Mrs. Updike was selected by the group for the hair style, since she had lost the most weight of any member.
Mr. Delano also showed the group one of the newest hair styles as he worked on a model who came with him. He discussed different styles and becoming styles with the group.
The meeting was held at Beryl Ann Beauty Shop in Washington.
The ’text meeting of the group will be held Thursday( tonight) April 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Health Office.
D&ri-Delight To Open
O. M. Burke of Washington, Virginia his leased the Dari-Delight custard stand On Route 211 west of Sperryville and will open for the season Saturday, April 7.
In addition to the cones, sundaes and shakes previously served, sandwiches and drinks will be available.
Mrs. John Burke will assist with the management.
