Celebrates 84th Birthday
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Williams of Chester Gap entertained with a party Sunday in honor of celebrating her 84th birthday.
Refreshments, including a birthday cake, were- served by the hostess to the more than fifty guests present.
Trout Fishermen Turn Out
Possibly due to the windy, disagreeable weather, not quite as many fishermen as in years past, appeared on the banks of the trout stocked streams in Rappahannock County as the season opened Saturday at noon.
Catches ran very well, according to game warden C. Ennis. Brown, who said that everyone seemed to catch some fish.
Also, due to the weather, the Sperryville Boy Scouts did a rushing business at the food stand they set up at Old Hollow. Patronage was above that expected.
