Road Hearing Held
As Supervisors Meet
Resident Engineer, J. T. Warren of the State Highway Office in Warrenton was present at the April meeting of Rappahannock Board of Supervisors held yesterday at the court house in Washington. As had been announced at the March meeting, a hearing on public roadi was held and requests submitted by county residents.
George Taylor, Sperryville re- _ guested that an additional part of ‘ Route 600 be put in the secondary system. A motion was made by A. T. Buckner, seconded by Herbert Foster and carried to have viewers look at this piece of road.
A request for widening and sur- " facing Route 622 up Harris Hollow was submitted by Roswell Bowersett, representing Skyline Ski Club, Inc. and Frank Lane, of Arlington. They explained they were interested in a ski club in. that vicinity. Also interested in Route 622 was Supervisor E. M. Jones, who requested spot improvement on this much traveled road.
