Specialist Five George Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Taylor, Huntly, Va., participated with other personnel from the Seventh U.S. Army Support Command in April Shower, ^Seventh Army command post ej&rcise in Germany, June 2-9. The exercise was designed as a study of organization, displacement of units, communications and logistics. All U. S. corps and divisions within the Seventh Army participated at command levels.
During April Shower control Staffs fed problems and situations involving the activities of a simulated aggressor force to the participating commands. These units then took the necessary action.
Specialist Taylor is an equipment repairman in the command’s 53rd Engineer Company, which is regularly located in Dachau. Ht entered the Army in 1952 and arrived overseas on this tour of duty in January 1958.
Taylor attended Culpeper Higl School.; His wife, Ethel, is wit! him in Germany.
