STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES

Virginia is changing. Our economy is steadily shifting; our population is undergoing constant alteration under the impact of social, economic and political forces whicn must be reognized and dealt with. New ideas are required to meet new problems. Courage and dedication to prin iples are needed to meet the changes.

As a Democratic Primary candidate for the House of Delegates, I accept this challenge to fenre you.

My life-time residence in Fauquier and my association with the people of Fauquier and Rappahannock have made me keenly aware of the problems facing our citizens. If • elected, I shall be loyal to our basic principes of democratic go\$mmerrf, represent your interests fairly and always seek the opportunity to discuss mutual problems with individuals and citizen groups.
