Rappahannock Panthers met the Warren Wildcats on the Rappahannock court Tuesday night, January 23. Although the J.V. team was defeated the Varsity won by a score of 57-48. The score of the J.V. game was 27-14.
High scorers for the J.V. were Roger Hawkins and Billy Sisk with six points each. Ladd was high man for Warren with eight pffints.
The Varsity game was very close in the first quarter with Rappahannock only two points ahead at the close of the quarter. In the second quarter Rappahamtodc went ahead to lead by six points at the half. The Panthers lengthened their lead in the third. Warren posed a threat in the fourth quarter but was unable to gain much ground.
The high out h>r Rappahannock was J. G. Russell with 16 points. For Warren, Wright was high scorer with 24 points.
