r. and Mrs. Carroll Dean and family of Arlington and Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Rector of Culpeper were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Hattie Deal. Miss Sandra Deal, who has been home on a five-day week-end, left Monday momring for Carson-Newman College in Jefferson, Tenn.
Mrs. Isaac Knight of Baltimore, Maryland, spent Thursday and Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thornhill and Mrs. Charles Thornhill.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Boyd of Huntington Valley, Pa., spent the week-end as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Thornhill. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd used to live in Slate Mills and are enroute to Florida.
