Service For Robt. W.
(Dickie) Brown, Jr.
Funeral services for Robert W. Brown, Jr. of Sperryville were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Brown, 27, was fatally injured Wednesday, March 21, in a traffic accident.
He was a son of Robert W. Brown, Sperryville and Mrs. Fred Medley of Radford, Vja., who survive him. IHe leaves his wife, Mrs. Maxine Hillard Brown and one daughter, Pamela Marie Brown of the home address.
Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Kenneth Britt of Cambria, Va.; two half-sisters, Mrs. John Smith of Radford and Miss Carolyn Brown, Sperryville; two half-brothers, Michael Brown, Sperryville and Freddie Medley, Radford, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Luther Brown, Sperryville, with whom he lived a good part of his life; and a number of aunts and uncles.
Interment was in the Sperryville Cemetery. Rev. H. E. Nicholson officiated at the service.
Pallbearers were Eddie Jenkins, C. H. Brown, Charles K. Estes, John Eubank, Jr., Randolph Clater, Robert Estes, F. D. Coffey, Jr. and Hugh Smith Atkins.
Bessie J. Campbell
Bessie J. Campbell, formerly of Amissville, died in Richmond on Mardi 15.
She is survived by several cousins.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, March 18 at the Amissville Baptist Cemetery.
