There was but one Shorthorn in the sale, a good sort of bull with a 2.09 ADG, 13 type score and index of 131. He sold for $400.00. While there were still a few bulls to be auctioned when I left, it was obvious buyers are willing to pay better prices for bulls with desirable lifetime performance rec~ ords that have “clean” pedigrees.
