The Ladies Auxiliary to Chester Gap Fire Dept, will serve a ham and turkey dinner beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 7 at the fire hall there. The public is invited to attend.

All Trout Fishermen
The members of Sperryville Boy Scout Troop 65 will open a food stand in Thornton Gap Hollow early April 7, the first day of the trout season. They will have plenty of good food, hot coffee and cold drinks. Proceeds from the food stand will be used to purchase camping equipment.
Film On Communism
To Be Shown At RCHS
Monday, April 9th
At 7:30 p.m. oh April 9 there will be a very important meeting held at Rappahannock County High School. This meeting is important to this generation and the ones to follow. A film, “Communist Encirclement,” will be shown by Mr. Harry Lindsey of the C. & p. Telephone Co. in Culpeper. The film runs for about forty minutes and is very enlightening.
Prior to the showing of the film, Mr. Giles H. Miller, President of Culpeper National Bank, will make a short talk on the subject of . Communism. Literature will be available for those who want it. This should be a most worthwhile evening.
The membership of Rappahannock Farm Bureau and the county Rural Area Development Committee is sponsoring the program. This subject is so important that these organizations are endeavoring to get the largest possible attendance.
