VIEQUES, Puerto Ric» (FHTNG)—Marine Pfc. Freddie M. i Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Jenkins of Sperrryville, Va., is serving with the Second Battalion of the Eighth Marine Regiment, an infantry unit of the Second Marine Division from Camp Lejeune, N. C., which is currently participating in training exercises at Vieques, Puerto Rico.

While in the Caribbean area, the Marines will receive training in the latest tactics with the use of helicopters to help maintain the division's “force-in-readiness” role.

Periodic tours of the island and to the middle city of Isabella Segunda are scheduled for battalion members.

Attend Banquet

Several young people from the Rappahannock Methodist Youth Fellowship Group attended a meeting in Charlottesville, Va., Monday night, March 26th, ait First ' Methodist Church. The occasion was the CharlotflesvilLe District Youth Banquet. Those who attended and represented the Youth Fellowship were: Miss Barbara Clatterbuck, Mbs Barbara Pullen, Miss Judy Lillard, and Mr. Robert J. Clatterbuck, counselor.

The Rappahannock Charge Methodist Youth Fellowship Group will go Bowling at Century Lanes in Warren ton, Va., on Tuesday night, April 3rd, from 7.00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Cars will leave Flint Hill Church or Rector’s Store at 6:15 P.M.
