Spring Concert At
RCHS Friday Night
There’s Music in the Air, especially at Rappahannock County High School where the choir is preparing and practicing for its Spring Concert.
The program will be held on Friday, May 25 at 8:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. The theme is “A Grand Night For Singing,” and it will consist of religious, patriotic and light music. Admission is 50c.
The concert offers residents of the county an opportunity to see and “hear” the progress of youth in one of thefiner arts.
The choir is under the direction of Mrs. Warren Wilbur. It has performed often at the school, local churches, banquets, etc. Its greatest undertaking during the past year, the Christmas Contata, was most successful.
An “after theatre” party will be held at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Warren Wilbur for the choir members and their guests.
