The Rural Letter Carriers, of Madison, Culpeper, Orange and Rappahannock counties held their annual dinner meeting Saturday evening, May 19 at the Pelhajn House in Culpeper.

Officers of the area association were elected as follows: President, E. L. Weakley, Madison; Vice president, Rufus Norris, Culpeper; and SecretaryiTreausrer, Charlie Compton, Amissville.

Guest speakers were W. V. Nichols of Randolph, Va., who is President of the State Carriers' Association and Odell Howerton, Concord, Va., State SecretaryTreasurer.

Delegates to the meeting were E. L. Weakley, Madison; Rufus Norris, Culpeper; Charlie Compton, Amissville; Billy Camper, Unionville; T. W. Willoughby, Rapidan; and Jerry Schweikert of Orange.

A. F. Cannon, Castleton ; Edward Brown, Sperryville; Edward !Epp right, Culpeper; and L. A. Kibler, Rixeyville were alternates.
