Two Accidents

State Trooper Bunting reported two accidents have taken place during the past week.

On Friday, August 31, a 1949 Dodge sedan driven by Annabelle E. Wilson of Brandy Sation, was involved in a collision with a 1955 Pontiac driven by Horace C. Pullen, jr., of Flint Hill.

Pullen is said to have cut in short behind the Dodge and hit the front end. About $100 damage was reported to each car. Pullen was charged with hit and run and later apprehended. No injuries were reported.

On Sept. 4 at 12:05 on Rt. 211, about IV2 miles east of Washington, a 1949 Packard sedan driven by Ronald Leslie of Omar, W.Va., skidded on wet pavement and went up the left bank, turning over in the road. The car was owned by Jack L. Smith of Arlington, and suffered about $1000 damage.
