Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr., and their three children of Staunton who spent the weekend and holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown at Rock Villa returned to Staunton Monday night.

Miss Mary Jane Morris of Charlottesville was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton at their home near town.

Mrs. Catherine Brown had with her for the weekend and Labor Day Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne, and Miss Shirley Brown; who were joined on Monday by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser and their two children of Arlington. On Saturday Mrs. Brown, her daughter and son, Mrs. Payne, Shirle. and Julian Brown, motored to Staunton where they visited Travis Brown, a patient at the Western State Hospital.

Mrs. A. S. Hargrove has returned to Hampton after a recent visit with Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar, who also had as their guest on Sunday, Miss Peggy Pillar of Quantico.
