Mrs. Helen Wines Mahoney and Mr. Garland (Shorty) Seal were married on Wednesday, August 29. The ceremony which was held in the new Baptist Church, was performed by the Rev. Harold Carder of Culpeper, pastor of the church.
Mrs. Jerry Mathews and son, Ricky, of Browntown spent Fridtay with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Williams. Jerry Williams, who spent several days last week with the Mathews family, returned to his home with them.
Mrs. Emma Williams spent last Friday with her aunt, Mrs. “Pet” Smith.
Mr.and Mrs. Paige Henson of Riverton visited Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock and boys on Saturday evening.
Mr. Willie Willis who is employed in Lynchburg, spent the weekend at his home here. Mrs. Willis, who spent two weeks visiting in Lynchburg returned home with him.
