Castleton Rescue Squad took S. H. Martin of Amissville to Fairfax General Hospital Friday night. On Sunday the squad took EldridgeGrigsby to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Rappahannock Rescue j Squad was called to an auto: mobile accident April 7 on | Rt. 608. There were no injuries. April 8 the Squad took Mrs. Garfield Jenkins from the Hite farm to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. On Tuesday, April 9, the Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Ira Baker from the vicinity of Baldwin’s Grocery to Dr. Snead’s for treatment for burns. Washington Fire Company answered a call on Wednesday to a field fire at Belmont Farm and Thursday to afire in Judge Snead’s orchard. Sperryville Fire Company was called to a second fire at Nethers, the same site as last week. Flint Hill Fire Company was called Thursday to the orchard fire at Judge Sneads. On Monday night the Rescue Squad took Ben Mallory to University of Virginia Hospital.

Amissville Fire Company answered two calls Thursday, one a brush fire at Waterloo and the other a brush fire at Rixeyville. On Saturday they answered alarms to a field fire at Aubrey Neys and the Kerinels.
