The Miss Rappahannock Beauty Contest on Friday night at the Sperryville Elementary School starting promptly at 7;30 promises to be a real duzzie, ( in the vernacular of Hazel). About 25 girls have been entered in this class and 50 in the other classes. Admission will be .50 for adults and .35 for children. Bernie Mahoney, wellknown newscaster at the Big K radio station inWarrenton will be master of ceremonies and T. J. Pillar will furnish piano music during the evening. Durnier will be on hand to take pictures of the young ladies both on stage and for individual sittings. Only the girls in the classes ; for 15 and over will wear formal gowns .and girls in other classes will be dressed in their Sunday best.
