A Chicken Dinner will be held Sunday, April 28 at the home of Mr .and Mrs. Johnnie Summers on Piedmont Avenue, sponsored by the Miss Rappahannock Contest benefit Queen of Washington Graded School. We will appreciate and be happy to have everyone’s co-operation in helping Washington Graded School crown its contestant Queen 1963.
There will be a Cake Walk at Horse Shoe Inn Friday, May 3, , also a cake contest, sponsored by Miss Rappahannock Contest. The public is invited to a delightful evening.
The Women's Club of the First Baptist Church will celebrate its Sixth Anniversary on Sunday evening, April 28, at 7 p.m. The members of the sister churches are invited to attend and help make this celebration a success.
