first in the "Miss Future Rappahannock" competition for ages 11 to 14. The two Misses Johnstons are sisters. Second place went to Miss Ellen Frazier,daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Waverly Frazier, Amissville, and in third place was Miss Ann Cannon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cannon, Castleton. Deborah Jenkins won the title of "Miss Pre-Teen* which included girls ages 6 to 10. Second was Robin Estes and third Beverly Jean Atkins. Susan Coates was chosen “Miss Pre-School," second and third place were Donna Cannon and Kate Frazier, respectively. Newbill Miller, Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors, welcomed those present and introduced the Master of Ceremonies. He also crowned “Miss Rappahannock."
