Rappahannock County Farm Bureau points out to wheat producers here in the county that they must get theniselves registered by May 13, 1963, to be eligible to vote. Most farmers have already received the form on which they will register. Each farmer should also know that persons “sharing in the wheat crop or proceeds thereof" will quality for a vote. This includes joint owners of land if both names appear on the deed; tenants who rent wheat land on a' share basis, but excluding land owners who rent their land on a cash basis. We’re not sure just how this regulation is going to be policed or regulated but we again urge anyone who feels he can quality for a vote to please make proper application regardless how distasteful the agreement may sound to you. A free and prosperous Virginia agriculture depends on each qualified wheat producer getting out and voting “NO" in the wheat referendum May 21. Rappahannock County Farm Bureau again urges all growers to register.
