George W. Davis, III served as an usher Saturday at the wedding of a former University of Virginia classmate Brooks Woods at Coolsville, Md. Miss Anne., Alexander of Washington, D. C, was the week-end guest of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer at the Rectory. Miss Doris Daugherty, Home Demonstration Agent, is in Blacksburg this week attending an Extension Service Conference at V. P. I. Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. and the Rev. and Mrs. Park Dickerson attended a performance of “Look Homeward, Angel” Friday evening at the Wayside Theatre in Middletown. Mrs. Charles T. Bruce is a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal where she was taken Friday with a heart condition. Dinner guests on Thursday of Mrs. W. L. Wake in Harrisonburg at the Belle Meade Restaurant were Mrs. Morgan Johnston, Miss Kaye Johnston and Miss Dana Snead. While in Harrisonburg they toured the Madison College campus. Miss Kaye Johnston will enroll there this fall as a student.
Miss Carolyn Johnston attended the Charlottesville District Methodist Camp at Boston, Va., last week.
