Miss Linda Russell is visiting her grandmother Mrs. Mary Russell in Orlean before returning to her home. Luncheon guests last Tuesday of Capt. and Mrs. J. P. Cook were Mr. and Mrs. James E. Day and daughter Shawd Elizabeth of Sierra Madre, Calif, and Mrs. James H. Day of Richmond. Mrs. Ida Trump returned home Sunday, accompanied by her son and family Mr. and Mrs. Blois Trump and three children of Alexandria whom she had been visiting the past week. Mrs. Leroy Hall and family were dinner guests Friday of Mrs. Hall’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs,'Paul Miller. Mrs. Hall, whose home is in Kathleen, Florida, is visiting her mother Mrs. F. Downing Wood at Sunny Side, Washington. Mrs. Frank W, Spalding is having a week’s vacation from her office of Commissioner of Revenue. She spent Monday in Richmond accompanied by her son Robert L. Massle, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith were in Cass, West Virginia on Sunday and enjoyed the two hour trip on the old locomotive running on the scenic rail road around Nob Hill. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers were Mrs. Dorothy Corder of Huntley, Mrs. F. D. Coffey of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers and two chil dren of Stevens City. The Home Demonstration Club met Tuesday evening in the home of Mrs. Frank Cary in Woodstock. Guests last weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster were Mrs. Ertha Corbin of Falls Church and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Sealock of Arlington.
