Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. ^ Ralph Styer were Mr. Styer s nephew William H Funk, Mrs. Funk and sons William, Jr« and David Funk of Glenmore, Pennsylvania. * Mrs, Bobby Smith of Fairfax was an over-night guest SatUF day of Miss Doris Daugherty. Mr. Smith joined her on Sunday and they were dinner guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller. Mrs. Smith is the form er Miss Harriet Goode, Home Demonstration Agent. Miss Dana Snead, a student at Mary Washington College, spent the weekend at her home Fairlea. Mr. an* Mrs. F. M. Baum, gardner and family of Annan, dale spent the weekend at her home in Harris Hollow. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Reid and two children left Tuesday for their home in Bartlesville Okla. after visiting Mr. Reid’s mother Mrs. C. G. Reid. On Thursday they visited Mrs. J. S. Bradley in Luray and on Friday, accompanied by Mrs. Bruce Bowie of Culpeper, Mrs Reid and her guests went to Monticello in Charlottesville. Mrs. H. T. Updike spent last week at the home of her sonin-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker in Culpeper.

Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith at Spring House Farm were Alwyn Havard and David Watkins of Shropshire and Gloucester, England. On Saturday Mrs. Smith, Miss Lee Smith and their euests attended the Fairfax Races; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke of Huntly an Mrs. P. W. Scudere were Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lester Burke. Capt. William Weiner of Bridgewater was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect.
