Oratorio Society To Present Messiah
The Oratorio Society of Front Royal will present the Christmas section of Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, December 3 at 8:15 p.m. in the Front Royal Presbyterian Church, The Forty voice chorus will be under the direction of Ronald Johnston with Helen Cunningham Smith at the organ.
Soloists will be Mrs, Judy Schaerfl of Harrisonburg, a soprano and Mrs. Iris Tapley of Winchester, contralto. Paul M. Hall, minister of music at the First Baptist Church of Clarendon' inArling ton, will be the tenor soloist. Mrs. Ray Williams and Mrs. Barbara Gentry, both of Flint 'Hill are members of the | chorus. The, public is extended an | invitation to attend.
