Exceptions were made for small farm diversion payments, both in 1967 and 1966, and the similar exceptions will be continued in 1968. A farm with a base of 25 acres or less will get payment on the first 20 percent acreage diversion at 20 percent of the total support rate times yield, and at the regular 45 percent payment rate on the remaining acreage diverted to a conserving use.
