Tools Reported Taken From Construction Job
An estimated $1,000 worthof tools were taken from the construction sue of the new elementary school near Washington Monday night or early Tuesday morning. The office of the construction superintendent was entered through a window and a door to a trailer where electrical tools were stored was broken open. The burglary is under investigation by Sheriff C. K. E-'stes.
Hearing Held on Slaying of Laborer
A hearing was held in Rappahannock County Court Tuesday for 1 lizabeth Mark Cosby who is charged with the slaying of a migrant woman laborer, Shirley Stanley, on Thursday November 2 at a labor camp in Harris Hollow. The case was sent to the grand jury. Judge T. Carlyle Lea, jr was on the bench.

There will be a special meet ing of all prospective senior 4-H members in the Flint Hill area on December 5,7:30 p. m. in the Flint Hill Fire Hall to discuss and to planfor organizing a senior 4-H community club. All interested in becoming members, parents and interested persons plan to attend this meeting. Community support will be needed.
